I believe the military draft would help the economy?

Although many policy makers and economists are against a military draft, many are not. There are more positives than negatives and we are closer each day to the danger of war with countries that pose a threat, Korea, middle east; are we going to have the man power? Wouldn't it be in the best interest of this country to institute the values of morale and leadership that existed during the first 2 world wars? We have grown into a society plagued with maladies and selfishness and the youth of today are so unaware that the very freedom to play video games and surf the net and face-book and own cell phones, is due to the blood of the American Men and Women protecting our very lives and borders. We sleep at night because there are those who voluntarily take the place of those that would not want to be involved. The economic models surely could hold a bright outlook to a country that maintains firm the protection of our freedom.
