My nails turned yellow after using Milani glitter nail polish.?

This is the first time ever that my nails turned yellow. I always use a base coat, and this time was no different. I used the glitter twice--once on my Christmas nail design with Christmas trees and Christmas presents. Most of my nails had different designs, so I only used the glitter on a few spots on a few nails, and when I took my nail polish off, only those spots were yellow. I thought that maybe it was just the first time, and my nails weren't used to it. So, I tried the glitter, again. This time, I had purple French manicures with the glitter at the tips. On one nail, I tried the glitter on the entire nail, just to see how it looked. Now, the tips of my nails are all yellow, and that one nail is all yellow. Only the parts of my nail that had glitter on them are yellow, so it's definitely the glitter. Why did my nails turn yellow after using this nail polish that is apparently a good brand and cost a little extra money? And how do I get rid of the yellow? I'm thinking about buffing my nails tonight, but is there anything else I can do?
