A new study out by Harper and Devries, and the Institute of Evolutionary Studies has determined that the?
disbelief in a higher power, or God, is a setback for evolutionary theory, because it holds that if there is a belief that there can be no 'Higher Power', evolution holds no key to evolving into a higher state. Since disbelief in God is cited as 'de-evolution', aren't atheists holding us back from evolving into a higher state? And doesn't their existence actually make the theory lose credence, if the less desirable qualities in a species are weeded out by 'natural selection', and they are multiplying? Are do you understand evolution to be something else entirely, like no longer existent, or stagnant?
