Why does the Torah/old testament say, David commited adultery with Bath Sheba, and Abraham married his sister?

It is written by a people who were willing to show both the good with the bad. If they only wanted to exalt them selves then they would have only written the things that showed them in a good way. They held back nothing and did not just stroke their own egos. Get over your self. Animals lack something for they only can view the world subjectively but man somewhere along the way was introduced to an objective point of view which allow for self discipline, this is why man is not just an animal. Study the origins of that objective point of view and it arrival on this planet.
